Can use my color negatives to make a Black & White print?
I’m in a photography class and I have color negatives that I want to use. But I am wondering if I can make a B&W print in the school’s darkroom with some of my photographic paper. My photo paper is Arista.EDU Ultra Graded RC. Does anyone know? If not then I can try to ask my teacher.

Yes, you can; I used to do it regularly – Fuji Reala printed particularly well, better than some B/W negs.
You do need to print it a bit differently, though.
What I found worked well was to make a combination print, which is just another way of saying you make more than one exposure under the enlarger.
Using ordinary Ilford Multigrade, try the following as a starting point:
for a 6 x 8 full frame print, and using f4, make one exposure of TEN seconds at Grade 3, then a second exposure of FIFTEEN seconds at Grade 4.
I must stress that these settings are only a starting point because I don’t know your individual enlarger, film stock etc but they should be a pretty reasonable ball-park figure from which to start.
Oh, and you may get occasional shifts in the tonal rendition of certain colours, but not usually much to worry about.
The results, when done properly, can be beautifully balanced and smooth-toned.
